Styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR) is the most widely used general-purpose
rubber among all synthetic rubbers.
SBR is the major raw material in manufacture of automobile
tires, shoe soles, conveyor belts, rubber tubing, tank and
caterpillar tracks, sporting goods, toys and many others.
From this array of products, it can be seen SBR plays an important
role in our daily lives. Not being limited by climate and
geographical locations as natural rubber, SBR has staked out
a firm claim on part of the natural rubber market, and its
application is continually being explored.
