TSRC to Showcase Eco-Friendly Medical TPE Solutions at Medtec China
TSRC Corporation, a leading manufacturer of styrene block copolymers, will unveil its latest VECTOR® medical-grade TPE solutions at the 18th International Medical Device Design & Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (Medtec China) from September 25 to 27, 2024, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (Booth No.: 1B001).
VECTOR® medical solutions are a range of thermoplastic elastomers specifically designed for the medical market. The product line includes various structures, such as high, medium, and low molecular weights, as well as high flowability and high vinyl content. To ensure material safety, VECTOR® undergoes rigorous testing, from laboratory evaluation to small-scale trial production and large-scale manufacturing, the material complies with ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity test standard. Additionally, TSRC’s manufacturing facilities are equipped with a Class 100,000 cleanroom and operate under medical GMP management to guarantee product quality that meets medical standards.
As an environmentally friendly material, VECTOR® TPE is free of plasticizers and can replace polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It offers excellent transparency in infusion bags and superior kink resistance in infusion tubing. As a replacement for vulcanized rubber in medical stoppers, VECTOR® provides outstanding resealing capabilities and minimal fragmentation, ensuring package integrity and reducing contamination risks.
