Job Description

This position is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Our company requires an account manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Provide technical service & consultation on product understanding for new and existing customers’ accounts / projects.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and post-sales support.
• Discuss and analyze technical needs with R&D product/application development team.
• Build long-term sustainable relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Generate sales opportunities with new customers; ensure growth of sales in the responsible region.
• Educate and support distributors on TSRC´s product knowledge and business philosophy including product information, troubleshooting, problem solving etc.
• Co-operate with any safety & health activities or campaigns organized by the company as well as to obey or to enforce company’s safety & health rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position.

Education Qualifications

Diploma or Degree holder in polymers or chemical engineering.

Professional Skills

 Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM software
 Market knowledge on global compounding and specialty SBC/SIS/TPE polymers.
 Ability to provide professional reports on new business opportunities and projects.
 Good command of spoken and written English, communication, writing and presentation skills.
 A positive attitude and proven effective negotiation skills.
 Open minded to deal with challenges and eager to learn and adapt to new knowledge and skills.
 Good sense in time management and critical thinking.
 Self-motivated and self-disciplined.

Experience Required

 Equivalent working experience of min. 10 years in sales and business development, preferably in manufacturing / plastic or compounding industry.
 Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role with proven sales track record.

Other qualifications

 Extensive travel domestically and internationally is required.
 Willingness to travel internationally and adjust to different time-zone working hours.
