TSRC Board names Joseph Chai as next CEO
[Taipei] TSRC today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Joseph Chai, previously served as Vice President/General Manager Performance Coatings, The Lubrizol Corporation, as Chief Executive Officer effective November 1, 2015.
Joseph has 24-year experience with Lubrizol and started his career as an area sales engineer. Promoted into a management role in 1994 and subsequently assigned as Vice President of Asia Pacific in 2006, he was relocated to China, US and then back to Shanghai recently.
During his tenure in Lubrizol, Joseph was responsible for sales, business development, marketing, technical services and business management in various markets including Asia-Pacific, Japan and US.
As CEO, Joseph will be in charge of TSRC’s business direction, the Company’s short-term and long-term strategies as well as organizational development and financial growth. Joseph will be accountable to shareholders, employees, partners, government authorities, and the general public for TSRC overall performance.
